ABOUT THE PROJECT

A long-term partnership with one of North America's most famous Financial Institutions has led us to create a B2B service platform that facilitates life insurance professionals to sell products and keep track of their client's financial well-being.

In addition to everyday operations and feature building, my team was responsible for a complete overhaul and recreation of the design system used for New York Life Products.

From color revision to the creation of new icons and larger components, my team spearheaded the discussions and eventual application of all changes made to the ecosystem.

Under the advice of my team, NYL made a major decision to reject predictability and embraced a new, illustrated character line used to represent their clients and agents: people from all walks of life, of all ages and races.
This added personality, visual accessibility, and diversity while also helping agents be able to tell a story with more ease.

Over 400 screens, alt states, edge, and use cases were created and extensively documented for handoff, development, and business meetings, all in accordance to our redesigned DDL.
